Great Sorrow was founded in the former Soviet Union, in 1990 when all talk of the West was taboo. Based in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Great Sorrow released it?s first album consisting of heavy metal / doom style music in 1993. Starting in 1994 the band worked on modifying their style from heavy metal to rock, releasing four additional albums. Great Sorrow is recording nine new English songs at this time.

Hello, Bruce! I have finally managed to send you the CDs, sorry it took so long. I was struggling with the coverart, but it is still undone. Well, so many thing to do. I wrote a cool song with Sylvan Mason (the girl pop start back from the 60's), I am mixing my stuff, another band's EP as well, making sports until the winter is here and trying my best to have fun out of it all! I hope you will get the CDs safe. Ugh, time to go...
